My sweet Willy is also questioned all the time. He is considered too big, the wrong color and his ears are floppy. But his papers state he is all Yorkie, and I wouldn't want him any other way, I love that his coat stayed black, his ears flop & I also love that he is a big solid boy.
You have a beautiful baby, enjoy him....

Think they meant they might have a doberman, scotty, or some other breed in the woodpile.

Im sure all of your babys are full yorkies. But I wouldnt go off just the papers, its been known for breeders to lie. I would just use your best judgement anyway. Besides, Yorkies and Silkys are relatives

Your baby looks like a "full blooded yorkie puppy" Take a stroll on YT and look at all the different types or styles that the members on here have . They are all yorkies- some will look different then yours and some may look just like your baby. The differance in the look has to do with how the baby was bred and the bloodlines behind him or her. Ears standing will also make a big differance in the look.

My little girl does not look like a "purebred" either. I think what we have here, you and I, are pups that are not quite what they call "standard", but that's OK! Do you see humans that look like photo copies of each other? LOL, no way!! (Of course, most of us are mutts, anyhow, lol)

I would love my little girl if she were 20 pounds with curly ears and a long tail. She is my shining light. I am sure your baby is that to you. Enjoy!

I think she's really cute! I love her ears. She looks like one to me, but I guess it can be different in person. But today a client came in w/ her dog and I thought it was a yorkie. She looked just like my Rocky, but when I looked at her profile she was a silky. AHHH!

This stuff w/ silkies and yorkies are driving up nucking futts! I do love him though. I guess I just don't want to find out that I was cheated. But then again I know his brother and sister looks like the typical yorkies that are out there which makes me want to hit myself and say there's no way possible. I don't know. It's just the way he looks that makes me think twice and think... did she really sell me a yorkie?

well... since I have found out that my breeder sells mix breeds like pure bred with faked papers, i believe that my baby is not pure bred too.
However, show breeder who looked at her told me that she is just example of BYB. The biggest my consern is Jessica's coat. Usually I cut her back shortly, if I do not do that she looks like pomeranian mix to me.
Unfortunately, I cannot attache the file - it is too big.
