| Great story and scary video! That little dog was in terrible trouble until his big, powerful friend came to the rescue. That Rottie is my new hero. He deserves a big, special treat for that and then some.

Now 2 people have to take the dogs out every night together. One goes out to look around and make sure it's safe and no noise in the woods. Then the other lets them out and comes out and we both keep guard. (mind you this is a completely fenced in yard!) LOL I would be committed to the looney bin if I lost my dog(s) to a coyote. The thought of them in pain or torn apart, when all they have known is soft hands and kindness their whole lives brings tear to my eyes to even think about it!

| The coyotes? They should be scared to be in celstu1's yard now!!! The yorkies have two human body guards! Those coyotes had better not think of getting into that yard! ![]()

| I don't think that was a Yokie. Or it was a huge one. The dog was 1/2 as big as the Coyote. Anyways you can see how they will attack. I hear them also. They live near me in the woods. My yard will light up also. I have a fence. My dog never goes outside alone. Never at night. Only on the porch. I have a potty pad there. When we go for walks its always Me or 2 Never anyone else. I fend off dog attack Monthly. Usualy the pepper spray works. I carry 2. One for backup. But if a pack of Coyotees come I have more lethal means. Wife was always mad at me when i said she could walk Moki alone. Till last week 2 dogs charged us. But the spray hasn't fail yet. God for the dogs. I grew up with American Bulldogs. Big ones so little Labradors don't scare me. Most common ones that go after Moki. Wife wants an Irish Wolfhound for backup |

| YT 2000 Club Member | Those darn coyotes are too hungry. We must not let yorkies out unsupervised. I flip that light on at 4:45am am go out there with my dogs and alwys check befor they go. Please let us not let one precious yorkie get into coyote mouth. |

| Yup good thing about flood light in the back is if something is on my property its lit up. So I know to watch. 6ft fence and my deck is 3 ft of the ground with 42in hand rail so nothing is getting at us to quick. Reason why. I hear them all the time packs during mating season. And dogs always come up missing in my area |

| Makes me want a Rottie!! Coyotes have no fear of people because they know they can out run us. Remember when that Coyote (in broad daylight) came right up to Jessica Simpsons little Maltipoo and it was standing right in front of her with two other people there, snatched her dog and took off with it. They never found the dog. If you don't have a fenced yard, then please, keep your babies on a leash, and I don't mean those leashes that are spring loaded where you can let the dog wonder 20 feet or more away from you.
