I thought the place to go for all those things was right here on YT!!!! If you have any specific questions start a thread, why limit your audience?

I honestly hate the title of this thread...but I understand where it was coming from...I think if you ask admin to start a club in the Yorkie Clubs section they will let you know if you can or not.

I have a smaller Yorkie but he is healthier than both my Teapots put together!

Oh, Im so sorry if anyone took my post as me saying I am against tinies who were not purposely bred to be tiny! I understand a runt can happen in even the best planned litter. I love all yorkies! Luma is my big girl and I love that she can come with me and do anything! 7 lbs is just right to me, but Rosie is charting to be way smaller and I love her just the same. She was not a runt....she just has some catching up to do!

I am not offended by your comment.....just have seen it on other threads about how small yorkies are sickly and to steer clear of a tiny for health reasons. There are many under 4 pound yorkies that are very healthy......it all depends on their genetics!

That's what I was thinking. People could see why tinies aren't as easy as ones that are the breed standard. We could be a club that educates others on why breeders should breed standard ones instead of tinies. If I had my way, I'd have a 5 to 7 lb yorkie. They seem less fragile. Having a place for others to see all we go through with the small ones might be helpful in preventing someone from buying from a breeder that is breeding for the wrong standards. We've all seen the ads-teacup yorkies, super tiny yorkies for sale, or miniature yorkies here- only 5k and up...Those are the breeders that aren't breeding for the good of the breed. That's just wrong!!

Exactly what would be considered the weight for the club, anyhow? Anything under the standard? Just askin... lol

In reality, when I need help with a problem mine's having, I ask in the forums. It would just be nice to have some others to vent at or rave to about the smaller ones that truly understand the challenges of the tiny ones.

My Jilli Ann is 3 pounds 7 ounces and is 1 year 10 months (if you count her age since birth by the week) or will be 2 Sept. 4th. She wasn't the runt, but did end up being the smallest.
I have one already in the teapot club, so one in the tiny club would be ok with me.

Exactly Cindersellie!! I learn so much from this forum and I am addicted but because I have a tiny sometimes there are questions only the tinies mommies can answer. So I will ask my questions in the general discussion section and hope there are others that understand the challenges that I might be having.

Carmen I am very sensitive and offended by what you said....just kidding

Georgie is 3.12lbs (just weighed yesterday)and full of issues not including every time he doesn't eat I worry like a nut He's almost 8 and after a couple surgeries I think my boy is completely healthy I am so thankful to be his Mommy I adore him whether he's 3lbs or 30 he's my baby boy

Thank you! OK, first question. How often do you feed your baby and what do you feed him? Are there treats left out during the day? Do you think Primal freeze dried and Natures Instinct frozen bites have too much fat and protein for them? Oh my-that's more than one question My baby loves that food and she is so tiny I am happy that she has a good appetite and will actually eat. Hates kibbles though and not crazy about much else. Tried cheese on the kibbles and she licks the cheese and walks away.

So far, we have a suggested name...Tinies against teapots. TAT! I like it, but we aren't exactly against them... Maybe 4WT? We Wish We Were Teapots? IDK, but I do like the idea of a club. I'm looking into possibly starting one

1st rule- suggested by yorkiedaze - would be that any who would like to be a member swears to "not promote or condone the breeding of tinies" That would be a MUST for a group like this
