YorkieTalk Newbie! | ![]() So if I get her spayed she can no longer have babies. I was asked to put my fingers on her pelvic bones. I can fit 2 fingers between the bones. I agree she's too young but I hate to fix her. Joey and her are about the same size but I do not know Thier backgrounds this is true. I did help deliver my Yorkie puppies along time ago from my dog my dad has. IM so confused. I will go ask a vet. Rt everyone. |

| ![]() I would definitely get her spayed... Leave the breeding to the experts. She could die giving birth ![]()

| ![]() Years ago we raised Chihuahuas. I had a 6 lb female and a 4 lb male. You would think that would be ok but there was a time that I did have to have a c-section. After abt 3 litters she came in heat and we kept her separated from our male. But the eighbors springer spaniel came into yard and somehow bred her (we live way out in the country so we didn't have to keep a super keen eye on her every minute when she was out). She had one huge puppy and had it all by herself. Go figure. |

There is no way on earth I personally would risk my babies' life....she is still a baby herself.....yes accidents happen, but this one is too big a risk to take. OP could lose her pup and/or any puppies she manages to have. Heck both momma and babies could die. IMO not worth it.

| ![]() I agree, she NEEDS an emergency spay ASAP especially not knowing much about her back ground. Here are a few things you NEED to look up, AAI, Chiari, Luxating Patellas. If you do not know her back ground these things can be passed on to any pups she may have & NOT worth the risk of loosing her only to bring pups into this world who may have any of these conditions. Please do the responsible thing buy your girl & spay her ASAP. And Welcome to YT ! ![]() |

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() Hi, all I can share is my experience with Molly, she was a the right age, right weight and everything worked out for the best but.... It was the most stressful worrying time in my life from the moment she tied though the pregnancy, birth, raising them, to even the unused milk in her (I thought her nips were going to burst) it was so scary, from start to finish, the thought of loosing my little girl broke me. Just my opinion your little girl is way too young to deal with this, she is still a baby herself. Accidents do happen its what you do after that's important

| ![]() I'm not a breeder, but YorkieMom1 is, and she gave you some great advice. I'd hate for your 7 month old baby to have complications from this mistake. It must be very stressful for you. Good luck & please keep us posted.

If this is what you are/were thinking, sorry hun, not a good idea. Leave breeding to those that know what they are doing....Yorkiemom1 has given you excellent advice, I know I now sound like a broken record, please for the health, safety and very life of your girl, have her spayed.

| ![]() Sweetie, for the sake of your beloved tiny Yorkie, please schedule an immediate spay. She is far too young and small to carry and whelp. Even IF she did have a successful whelp - the stress of an early pregnancy on her still growing and developing body can have disastrous results in later years. |

| ![]() I agree with everyone here...PLEASE get her spay immediately!! I agree with leaving the breeding to the breeders that know what they are doing. You would never want to pregnate a 10 year old child....this is exactly that. This little pup is just a child herself. Most breeders never mate their girls until at least 2 or three years old. They are just not mature enough to not only have babies, but the instinct to mother them properly just isn't there yet. Accidents happen, you aren't a bad person, just do the right thing now and you won't have to feel bad anymore or worry about this happening again... |

| ![]() I didn't mean to make it sound like i thought she ought to let her go thru this. In fact I don't know what I was thinking at midnight...obvisiusly not much. But I am in agreement with everyone else. |
