 accidental breeding
Years ago we raised Chihuahuas. I had a 6 lb female and a 4 lb male. You would think that would be ok but there was a time that I did have to have a c-section. After abt 3 litters she came in heat and we kept her separated from our male. But the eighbors springer spaniel came into yard and somehow bred her (we live way out in the country so we didn't have to keep a super keen eye on her every minute when she was out). She had one huge puppy and had it all by herself. Go figure. |
