I have had puppies and kittens bought for me at pet stores....I even got a baby monkey at a pet store....and if I walked ito a pet store today, I would fall in love with puppies in there and probably walk out with as many as I could afford to buy.....I can NOT even go into pet stores for that reason....it is next to impossible to resist those adorable little eyes and faces...we dont jusge you....too many of us have been right where you are.....

Right now go on the assumption that she has pavro. Try to close off shut doors of rooms that neither you nor she have been in. CAuse if it is pavro basically everywhere you and your pup have gone in your house will need dis infecting. Then there will be the outside too. This includes your car as well.

Also please don't despair, she is at your vet's now, and YT prayers have been known to do some amazing things.

We are going to continue to pray this is NOT parvo....they can do a "snap test" at the vet and it will give them a pretty good idea if the baby has parvo....has the vet done a "snap test" for parvo? (If it is parvo, as "gemy" has said, you are going to have to do MAJOR cleaning to kill the virus that is shed. CLOROX DOES NOT KILL PARVO....you will need to get an anti-viral that is specific to the virus....you can order the solution on line....you need to wash anything she has touched....toys, bedding, YOUR clothes worn when you held Dizzy, etc.....it can be washed in your washing machine with the solution....the rest of the house will have to be wiped down ....floors, furniture, crates, playpen, baby gates, furniture, etc.....and then your yard....any place that baby has walked, as well as any place YOU have walked after being where the puppy was...it has been carried on YOUR shoes, all over your home and yard....I got a garden sprayer, mix up the Virkon solution in the sprayer, and spray everything down.....itis a horrible tough job, and it only takes one time for you to experience this, and you will shudder in terror if anyone ever mentions "parvo" to you ever again. I can help you with details, if this is what you are facing....we can cross that bridge if we need to. There is another breeder on here...memory fails me who it is, but she will also come forward with information as she also uses Virkon.....I learned about the solution for the laundry from her....

She is so tiny and absolutely precious. If she is at the Vet's overnight, will someone be staying to monitor her and keep her stable? These little ones can go down so fast, poor baby.

Hi Auntie, I also got my Buster Brown from the Barkworks in Thousand Oaks. The first night I brought him home he started coughing bad. He had Kennel Cough that we fought for two months that verged on Pneumonia and required a 3 day hospital stay, he also had Giardia, Coccidia, and arthritis in his front legs and LP (bad knees) in his back legs. Barworks states they know their breeders but they lie and get them from puppy mills. California has puppy lemon laws. I actually used the lemon law on Barkworks and they refunded about 75% of what I paid for him because of the huge amount I spent on medical bills in the first two months.
If you buy a dog from a pet store or commercial breeder, California's so-called Puppy Lemon Law gives you some protections in case the animal becomes ill shortly after purchase. I actually found Yorkie Talk because I was so frightened and desperate about Buster's health.

There is always a good reason for everything that happens. If God thinks she belongs in heaven, then it's to keep her from suffering with more health issues. She would not want you to be sad.
