| I just read all your posts and am thrilled that Dizzy is doing better. Her pic is darling! Cant wait to hear happy stories as she grows up and helps to fill that empty place left by the passing of your husband. Our furchildren can be such comforts in stressful times. I am happy that you know Lynzy. I have learned on this forum that she is such a knowledgeable person and always has a kind word of support. Welcome to YT, and I'm glad you are here!

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | So happy she does not have pavro! But my goodness, an eye needs to be removed? Can you tell us why the removal? Also prior to the operation, she should have pre op blood work done. Also there is a member on here who sells soft E cones, might be good to order one for her. This will protect the eye from her scratching the wound as it heals up. ANother member will probably come on to give you the link - for the life of me I can't remember that members' name. I know you must be breathing a deep sigh of relief right now. At the top of this forum, is a Puppy Care Guide, you might like to read it to refresh yourself about raising a puppy. TAke care of yourself, and hope for all good news for you and your pup

| Oh yay...I was looking for an update...didn't see this thread. I am glad she doesn't have Parvo, but I, too, wonder why she needs an eye removed? That seems pretty severe for one so young. At least some of the worry over her future and stress of the severity of her condition is abated. Whew, huh? {{{Hugs}}}

Also, I would get this baby over the worming and the stress of her initial vet visit before I subjected her to the stress of an operation....if the eye is not infected, it seems you could wait on that procedure...let her gewt back on her feet from all she has encountered over the last few days....I am THRILLED this baby does not have parvo! | |

| What an awful thing for this puppy to have to go through! Is the pup just blind in the one eye or is the eye badly infected? Blindness alone would not be a reason to remove the eye. That poor baby. I hope it does get a chance to recover before any surgeries have to be done. |

| Dizzy SOO GLAD SHE DOES NOT HAVE PARVO!!! I thought about her all last night and my heart was heavy thinking about what she might be going through. And for the other pups in that horrible place I pray that someone goes to their rescue and then that place gets shut down!!! P.S. I have a cat named Dizzy and every time I look at her you can bet I'll be thinking about your pup.

| Yay for Dizzy! I am very happy to hear she didn't have Parvo and they are able to let her keep her eye. Did the vet say what led to her blindness in that eye? Hugs to Dizzy!
