| [QUOTE=Lou;4194313]I know that looks like a really good breeder but something about the website is making me uncomfortable. One of the things is a photo of a new owner with her puppy. It looks like it is taken in a parking lot. I know a lot of breeders will meet you in lots so you don't come to their houses. My daughter visited her breeder's house twice before she finally got her puppy. The breeder met her "in the middle" and they did exchange the pup in a parking lot. So, there ARE some reasonable explanations for this type of pic. |

| I sure hope the person looking for the pup saw our replays and didn't buy from a bad breeder.

| I got Izzy from Breny (member here) of Greens Treasured Yorkies. I can honestly say Brenda is a wonderful breeder. Izzy was very well adjusted and still is, she was almost pee pad trained and just a wonderful addition to our family. Brenda sent me pictures of Izzy from the time we put a deposit on her until we picked her up (including a few videos). Brenda and I were in contact weekly via email and telephone. I would recommend her. Her website is greenstreasuredyorkies.com. Good luck in your search for your puppy.

| I'm glad Nancy outed that website. Mass production of puppies always causes red flags to come out. I would suggest you go to the AKC website and look for a conformation or Yorkie breed club in an area that is close to you. The clubs have breeder referral people who will only refer you to approved breeders. They are very careful to only name good breeders as they need to protect their reputations. American Kennel Club - Club Search and Directory The standard weight for a Yorkie is 7lbs and under. If you buy from a breeder with a reputation for breeding a good consistent line of Yorkies you will have a much better chance of getting a pup that will be within the standard size. |
