I have a sis-in-law who's dogs nails are "way to long" all the time because she is afraid of clipping them. I had to clip one that was almost into her paw once so it isn't a sign that they are not very loved and missed. Glad you are caring for her just hope if she is a loved pet the owner will have a way of contacting you. We have an elderly lady here with dimensia who dearly loves her pup but cannot groom her. She depends on her kids (who are not very dependable) to groom her. Its sad but she and the pup would both be heartbroken if something separated them. |

As far as the lady with demensia, I understand that there is only so much she can do but why can't she find someone else to help if she can't depend on her kids can you try stepping up? Sorry if I'm too blunt, I've just seen way too much volunteering at the SPCA in my youth! |
Sis in law does take her to the groomer or to me but they grow real fast as you will find out if you keep this little one and they get away from her at times. As for the lady with deminsia not sure you have ever dealt with someone who has it but my father passed with it. It is not as easy for them to do things as you seem to think. She loves her pup dearly and if she had her right mind there would be nothing she would not do for it. I have told her I would help but sadly in her state of mind she only trusts her children. Even so I would never deprive her or her pup of each others company. I honestly think they would both grieve themselves to death without one another. I have had to care for a pup that was brought to me lost by a friend and believe me I would of loved to kept her she was precious but I did the right thing, hung flyers all over town with her picture and where she was found and on what day. Called all the vets in 3 towns, had her checked for a chip. When her owner came for her it was very obvious she belonged to him as she ran straight to him and jumped into his arms. His grandkids had opened the door the morning she ran away and she escaped without them seeing her. He stood in my living room and cried he was so happy to have her back. |

Found this post on craigslist / Maybe this is the owner, seems very very possible ! lost and now stolen female yorkie lost and now stolen female yorkie (noble) now please tell me why my posting about my missing yorkie has been flagged. I have been missing her since the 10th and today someone flagged it. makes me think someone is keeping her and her babies. makes me sick to the dishonest people out there. she belongs with me and is reported stolen she has an alert on her and will need to eventually go to the vet. look at her teeth we had an appointment to get them fixed and now its your responsibility. but as soon as you take her to any vet they will scan her and see she is stollen. please just return her. if she has already had her babies you can keep one of them but give her back please. |

Unlike the plastic paddies, I'm second generation Irish- American, I've spent a lot of time over in County Cork with my family. I'm not saying that Irish people lose their temper over everything just when we get going it's not always the best... |
