strong dislike for little dogs! I hate little dogs! I usually find them to be viscous, yappy, annoying dumb things! Yesterday my better half was going to her car to go to school, a little Yorkshire terrier female ran up to her and pawed at her wanting to be picked up, the girlfriend looked around for an owner and none was found. She brought her inside saying "guess what I found... a puppy" Half of the hair on her face was cut, her nails were longer than mine and she is skin and bones either had a previous litter or? (Going by her nipples) she likes to make a.nest in tight spots! We gave her a bath, and cut her nails she does well in my pack! If she was missing for a while her nails would have been worn down.. Look for the original owner? No thank-you:) Besides she's a total daddy's girl! Won't fit my tattoos but I ain't keeping her in a purse! |
So now how do you feel about little dogs? :D |
I think this is my favorite post of the day!! :) |

Oh, I'm so glad she is safe and warm. She needs to see a vet and get scanned to see who she belongs to and whether or not she is ill or hurt. Dogs can successfully hide illness and/or pain, especially in survival or flight mode, as she's probably been in. She could have worms, very bad teeth, etc., so get a good vet exam and diagnostic tests done. She could have been on the run for a while. We recently had a member here whose dog was lost for about 3 weeks on the Disneyworld grounds and survived. I would do the right thing and try to find her owner. Maybe the dog is ill and the owner couldn't keep weight on her due to a disease or something or she's just refusing food due to a behavioral issue. Just because her nails are long doesn't mean she hasn't been missing a while or anything. Maybe she's got orthopedic problems and can't venture very far without pain from some condition or the owner was ill, couldn't get her to the groomer for a while. She could have escaped when a tradesman left the door open and ran out of fear once she was out and about. How would you feel now should she go missing and no one look for you, if you care so much now? You have to do the right thing and look for the former owner. It could be a very sick child who really needs her dog or something like that. |
LOL!! A literal overnight change! :D |
My first Yorkie, Marley, was turned into my office one day by a woman who burst through the door saying, "what town is this, and do you recognize this dog?". Well... I didn't know the dog, but her heart seemed to be in the right place... Marley apparently had ventured halfway across the busy highway in front of my office when the woman's husband pulled his F150 crossways to block traffic while the woman jumped out to save Marley. She couldn't keep him as she was on her way to North Georgia to be with her sister who was having surgery. Well... he's mine now, and he's the perfect dog... well mannered, compasionate, handsome... I NEVER considered getting a dog at this stage in my life, but here we were, thrown together by circumstance. Since I got him at the office, I took him to the office -- every day. He had to work out his Vet bills by entertaining clients and quieting children. He was excellent in this role. Chapter Two is a little different. Marley was such a perfect dog, I decided to get another Yorkie -- a tiny little boy from a show home who turned out to be a cross between Chuckie and Cudjo... go figure... but I love them both. |
Vet check up next week. Her teeth are great but will still have vet look at them. She is young and tires out Connor our 4 month sheltie puppy. We have looked on Craigslist for an owner no luck! Its not that we don't want to give her back, we just are scared. Can someone shoot me a Pm with their e mail so they can post for me? I'm on a cellphone |
