I think you should make EVERY effort to search for the owner of this puppy. She could have escaped through a number of circumstances. My puppy can be out the door, up steps and lost on a main road in a matter of seconds when the post man comes to the door. Please look for her owner - or someone else in the US (I don't know how Craigslist works) post a notice using the given photo and information. When I was a child my grandma was ill and unable to cut her dog's nails as often as she liked but that dog was loved, so so loved. I hate to think if her dog had escaped with long nails that someone would have kept her because the long nails apparently equal neglect of some kind. You could be upsetting someone elderly, or even children. |
Gah and it took me so long to post this due to my rubbish wifi connection that I see now you have posted on FB. That is great but please do make an effort to spread the word further. |

I'm just kidding but we are keeping an eye out for her owners! |
So, Grumpylilmoose, you are so very obviously a caring, sensitive, animal advocate. I can clearly see that you are doing what you can to find out if anyone is looking for this little girl but secretly hoping that you won't find them. I believe that if she were loved and adored as she truly should be, you will find her first family, however, if there is not someone wildly looking for her and doing all they can to advertise her loss then how can you possibly hope for a reunion? My view on you and your character is that she will spend her days happily with you. You will have your first hint on Monday when you can find out if she is chipped, also, yorkie talk comes up in almost any search you can do for Yorkies on t'interweb, so stay tuned here in the hope that if someone is looking for her that they stop by here. I sorta hope she gets to stay with you. |

I'm a major softy when it comes to animals, i have been involved with 4H, volunteering for the SPCA when I was younger, I worked at PETCO until a disagreement that got me fired. (They thought keeping an Oscar for life in a ten gallon tank was acceptable! ) Most people I don't care about :-p |

Maybe I missed it but I dont see a post about anyone finding a Yorkie on the FB page "Lost and Found Pets in OK". The last post was on Feb. 25th |

She's such a cutie pie :flirt: I lost my dog for 2 or 3 months and never stopped looking for him. Finally a shelter saw one of my ads in ASPCA and call me. The owner should be doing there share. As long as you look through all shelters lost dogs and call around your doing enough. I had my whole city looking for my dog. You can also post on shelters websites found dog but be very careful when they claim her. If owner never steps up then you have yourself a new baby girl :D |
