Once you have one Yorkie you want more?

I can't speak for all of them, but that's not true in my case. They like me a lot more than the like each other.

Yorkies are adicting I have 3 and one pup 2 weeks old that will be my daughters once old enough. Plus 2 rotties wouldn't trade for nothing love them all 2 pieces. They are just so fun to be around. They are like human babies that you can dress up and kiss all day.

not necessarily true, I had 3, they all sat on my lap or as much ofthem selves that could fit on my lap. And as another member wrote, they preferred me over their playmates, I guess it would bassed on the dogs them selves. I know many ppl that have 2 or more, and they prefer to be mom or dad rather then be a pack.

I just have one 13 week old yorkie but we have been playing around with the idea of getting another but my husband wants a cat now. Go figure!

We have a bulldog and a yorkie. We're thinking of adding another pup in the summer. Husband wants a Great Dane; I want a yorkie or maltese. Y'all know the saying "Happy Wives, Happy Lives"

I would love to get Gunner a playmate. He has so much fun when I puppy-sit my grandchi. I think if I ever get him housebroke I will get another.

I have 2 yorkies. I only had baby penny a few months before I added her half sister even as close as they are they still our my shadows.

I used to have 2 yorkies....they've since passed away and now I have a yorkie and a papillon.....and may add a biewer. Then I'm done for a while! lol. I have 5 kids (raised 3 stepdaughters too) so I'm used to a crazy house I just want to make sure I can always afford awesome vet care for them so I can't have too many bc I just don't have the $$

For years I dreamt of adding just one more. One little buddy for Kaji to love and be home with all day. I'm so over that!!! I love having just one. Financially it's my limit. We're lucky Kaji has dog friends to play with and foster friends that come to my house too! (Foster friends = temporary fosters that are passing through) Having said that, there is one pup that has stolen my heart. He is NOTHING like what I thought I wanted. He is more than double Kaji's size; I always thought I'd get one Kaji's size cause I think he's perfect. He is a noisy little barker and has so much energy; Kaji is calm and cool yet loves to hike! He's an awesome combination of energies. The pup I would like to add is a little YTNR foster boy that has stolen my heart and Kaji couldn't wait for me to send him on his way. The pup is paralyzed from the waist down due to a BB in his spine. Kaji just didn't understand why I was giving this stranger so much love and attention when he was here. If I felt our home was ideal for that boy, I would be happy to add him to my pack. For now, I will follow his story and try to send him things he needs or may like.
