| ![]() I had one and I bought him for my hubby, and he was so furious with me he nearly divorced me. The end of last year, the 31/12/12 he bought me Abbey because he said Ruffy was "lonely" |

| ![]() The more the merrier! I have two yorkie pups one 6 months one 10 weeks. I also have a 4.5 year beagle and a cat and 4 human babies. Did I mention I have chronic health issue? I just love my yorkie pups they bring such joy to our house. I won't add anymore pets for a while of any type but I would love once my yorkie pups become between 2-3 years on adding another yorkie. I am total agreement that yorkies are like chips you can't have just one. |

| ![]() I'd have the whole litter if I could lol. But realistically two is enough for me. I have one at the minute but will be adopting on very soon. |

| ![]() We have had 2 since Laddy was 8 months old. He was wearing us old people out so we had to get him a companion lol. We got our precious Lolita (RIP sweet baby) and when she passed hubby got me Kyra. I watched Laddy grieve as much as I did when Lolo passed so we had to have another for both our sakes. They really are like potato chips you can't have just one. Yes there are double the vet bills and other things but they are worth every penny. I too would have a houseful if DH would let me. Why not, my kids already think I am nuts lol. Secretly I think they are afraid I am spending their inheritence on the dogs lol.

| ![]() I'm another single yorkie owner, too. Tatiana is our only child (we don't have skin kids). Truthfully, I'm content with one. With all the work and attention for one yorkie, I don't think I want to add a second one. It's a labor of love, but it would be a bit much with another dog. Also, we bring Tatiana with us everywhere. That would be difficult with two dogs (and I certainly wouldn't bring just one dog, and leave the other at home). |

| ![]() Even though this is an old thread, I thought I'd add my 2 cents ![]() Just remember, two pups means double everything... Double the vet bills, food, treats etc.

| ![]() Yes...they are very addictive. I started out adopting one with the understanding that he'd rather be a solo pup, but I ended up adopting a friend for him because he has separation anxiety issues. I really want to adopt a 3rd. I'd really like a little girl as I've never had one AND I'd like to be able to leave 2 at home and take one out with me. Prince does not do well on trips out and Ricky does...but I can never take him because Prince gets upset if he's home alone. A 3rd pup would solve that problem. Unfortunately, my house is too small and I don't have a fenced in back yard...and I've got a senior dog that has had health issues and potty training issues, so at this point, I am not sure I want to strap myself with another pup, more pee and more vet bills. On top of that, my lap and my queen size bed are already way too full with two. I am not sure where I'd put a 3rd. Of course, as soon as I got a 3rd, I'd start dreaming about a 4th!! I am not sure if I could ever have enough... |

| ![]() I once had 3, all females, one not spayed, 2 spayed, all 3 years apart, never a fight, never jealous, (because all 3 would be more or less on my lap at the same time lol). My prob. is, I cannot go any place where they sell yorkies,I never planed on 2 let alone 3. They have all passed, I just adopted a lil 2 y/o male, again, not planned also not wanted, loosing my girls was always to over whelming for me, when I had to put down my last one I said NO MORE DOGS. This is a surrender pup, a gift to me from my vet, (a long story) he is a true blessing. It's not uncommon to have more then one yorkie, you just cannot look into those eyes and not take it home with you, they are entertaining lil loving clowns. With my new boy of 3 months I could never get another yorlie, he came to me very spoiled, and of course I have spoiled him even more, because he was once loved deeply, was given an abundance of attention, and then given away (another long story lol) Cody DEMANDS 1000% of my attention, he does NOT ALLOW ME to watch TV, because, my eyes are not on him lol. He does NOT ALLOW ME to be on the phone talking to someone other then him, I have to close myself in my bathroom due to his barking, whimpering, whining & growling at me to HANG UP THE PHONE lol. When I go in my bathroom to talk I have to hang up because, I have about 1 1/2 space under all my doors, when I lock myself in the bathroom Cody lays on the floor out side the bathroom door peeping under the door lol, at me, I see his lil furry paws under the door I feel so bad for him I just say "I gotta hang up" so there could never be another yorkie for me. Two are awesome, but something to think about. When I had 3 they came all over with me, lassoing up 3 lol, a trip and a half, they all had their own spot in my caravan. They LOVED going in the car. Good luck in your decision.
