Maybe Jada will benefit from a Korean style hair cut, very short on the muzzle, it's very cute... I really want to do this cut on Mimi, but she won't let me go near her w/scissors. I have to resort to washing her beard every other day & checking to see she didn't get hair in her mouth after every meal. Things we do for love loll.

I cut her hair pretty short on her face Wed..do you have a pic to post of the style you are talking about Jenny? Jada does really well with grooming...well except for her feet

Oh Michelle you are such a good mommy, you found this and took action I had no idea dogs did something like this either. Zhoie's mouth is so small you really can't get anything in there to brush. She is due for another dental in June. She gets them yearly, but not sure how long that will be enough. Kisses to sweet Jada Bug.

Tena..thanks so much.. I can't imagine not checking head to toe and least once a week. I just hope this wasn't in there for a long time..surely I would have noticed or there would have already been infection. I know it had to hurt It is awful that their tiny little mouths can't be brushed well because we can't get anything back in there to brush them.

Oravet didn't do squat for sugar. They have to apply when they do the dental then you reapply at home. Problem is if you brush teeth it brushes off ( my vet said not to brush) I tried not brushing and her teeth were yellow within a week!!

Michelle, I'm just seeing this...oh my, I didn't realize this could happen. Thank goodness you found it in time before she got an infection. I saw her adorable picture on FB with the short beard but didn't know this. You're such a good mommy to Jada and Bogie. I hope her dental goes well. My Hayley has dental issues too...seems like every time she has a dental they have to remove teeth. I just do the best I can with them...that's all we can do.

That is amazing that she chewed off that much hair! Huey gets strands in his mouth all the time, but I have never found it stuck in his teeth, thank goodness. (I could see myself trying to floss him before going to the vet...doubt that would work out, though, since he wont even let me brush his teeth...he does it himself!) Good luck at the vet.
