YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I am hoping the person that took your Yorkie just thought she was lost and picked her up. I would do the same if I saw a little dog out in the dark. But if they saw you out there yelling and they drove away and stole your dog I am going to pray that the Lord will make them so miserable for what they have done they will return the dog. God knows every move we make and He answers every prayer we say. I will pray you Will get your precious Yorkie back. Now put up posters, check all shelters cuz if this idiot has a brain he will return it to a shelter. Let us all pray specifically for this dog to be returned. Power in prayer! Watch God work! Keep us posted. I am heartbroken over this and know the love of a Yorkie, it is so hard to have this happen. Love to you! |

YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I am so happy for you! I didn't read all the posts so I didn't get the message right away she was home. Oh we Yorkie lovers must keep our eyes on our dogs always. Not to leave them in cars, not safe in motels, I would probably sit at the groomers and wait just to make sure they are safe there. I still say our God does not sleep and this thief will reap what they sowed. I will be thanking my Lord for your safe return of your precious baby! |

| ![]() I'm so thrilled for you that Keira's back home, safe in her own surrondings. Thank God for miracles, what a blessing! ![]() As other's have said, please take your baby to the Vet to have a check up and make arrangments to have her microchipped. I noticed that was one of the things you were worried about in your original post yesterday. I know you're heart is happy right now and this nightmare is over but trust me, to know your baby is microchipped gives you peace of mind that you've done everything you can to protect your baby in the future. ![]() |

Please go get your little one microchipped, ok? The missing tooth..that's odd. You say you were going to have to remove it anyway..was it a retained baby tooth? How sick was she? Is she feeling better now? Very very happy!! ![]() ![]() ![]()

| ![]() Get you a tall, strong wood fence ringed by a metal fence. People are less than human these days. Glad you got your baby back. |

| ![]() Oh my gosh! I haven't had a chance to get on YorkieTalk lately and just got on tonight. As I was reading through this post- it brought back all of the emotions from when my sisters yorkie Teddy went missing last September. I was planning to let you know all of the info that we were fortunate to have to help us get our Teddy back...and then I read that you got her back!! I am soooo happy for you!!!!! And so happy for another happy ending ![]() My sister's yorkie- Teddy, went missing while we were on vacation in Florida. She opened the door to her condo and he (uncharacteristically) ran out.....long story short....We started immediately with putting up flyers with his pictures ALL OVER....from gas stations, trees, stop signs, police station, fire stations, Wal-Mart, on all of our vehicles, absolutely everywhere....over 500 flyers. We posted on local facebook pages, businesses, newspaper & local tv fb pages, etc- and we had over 1,000+ shares.....and posting that we were not going home without Teddy (my sisters "son"). We were so fortunate to have so many dog lovers helping & sharing our situation- including great info from YT. Teddy was missing for 4 days. On the 4th night we were out looking for him when we got back to the condo and found him tied up to our golf cart parked in front of her condo. There was no note....We honestly believe that someone had him and probably thought about keeping him, but after all the attention- there would be no way to keep him without someone finding out. Also, she had just had him groomed that day & he smelled of new doggy cologne...and it rained the entire 4 days he was missing, but when he "turned up" he was still smelling of his doggy cologne and you could tell he had never been outside during those 4 rainy days. Soooo happy for you!! More tears of happiness for another furbaby home to their family!!!

| ![]() Hi All, well it's been a great few days since I got Keira back. She was sick on Monday and Tuesday after her adventure but kept eating otherwise and now she's fine. Her back teeth were retained baby teeth she lost one but the other is still there. She was acting kinda funny..oddly. She is actually cracking me up. Normally she's quiet, like really quiet, never barks or makes any noise, usually sits right by you or on you and gently nudges you if she wants a pat, but yesterday she came to me, looked me right in the face and started to growl, "talking to me" kinda, so I asked her if she wanted to go potty, took her out ... nada. I refreshed her water & food...still talking to me...that wasn't it either. Got her toys out but she didn't want to play, I'm sure she was scolding me for something but I don't know what. I put her in her crate thinking maybe some privacy but she continued to growl at me from under the cover so I let her out again. What a little sassy pants...If she was telling me about her adventure I don't think she liked it lol... |

| ![]() Buster is a talker too he definitely tells me what is on his mind with growls, whines, barks it quite a speech. I can picture her telling you about her experience. Spunky Keira is a survivor using all her wits to get back home. I am so thankful you got your sweet girl back in your loving arms. Best wishes to you and your Sassy Baby.

| ![]() Maybe bring her to the Vet. for a good check-up. Is she spayed? If not, this may be a good time to have that done and they can pull the retaining baby tooth at the same time. I'm so happy to hear she is back home though. Sounds like she went thru a bad time and is venting.
