My baby was stolen I'm so angry and feel so helpless. After grooming her (of course means no collar which is useless unless she ran away but she was stolen) I let my baby Keira out to potty about 8pm on Saturday. It was really dark so I turned around to put the lights on and help my great dane down the steps his eyes aren't so great either. Literally a minute, anyways someone saw her, picked her up and just drove off with her. I didn't have my glasses couldn't get the plate number. My husband ran out the front door but it was too late, I'm just beside my self and sick with grief. How can people be so cruel. I made a police report, she's got her shots, rabies, registered with the county but hadn't been micro-chipped yet. As if I haven't been through enough in the last year now someone takes my baby, they might as well have cut my heart right out of my chest oh wait they did. I just needed to get that out! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: |
That is absolutely horrible!!!!!!! I am so sorry for you & your baby!! Praying that the people get caught or someone has the heart to give her back & that she is safe!!! |

I am sooo sorry. I would post flyers and pictures and put an lost dog add everywhere you can..just maybe someone will see her. |

I am so very sorry!! This is just beyond awful..no words. Do you have a flyer or pics and/or a facebook page? If not, get those asap, ok? If you can get something up on a facebook page, we can all help with what we can from here. We can share the page. I have family in Charlotte so I'll do anything I can. Do you know what kind of vehicle it was? Make? Color? I wish I could hug you through this screen. You cry all you need to, but fight while doing it. Don't give up. Think of any special traits your baby has (what's her name?), marks, missing a tooth, a nail, anything ok? We are here for you. Oh, also post all over Facebook for Charlotte and the surrounding areas. |

I can't imagine what you are going through. Get posters up, call all the vets around, notify all the animal control people. Put pictures up in stores and everywhere you can. That is unbelievable! My heart goes out to you. Praying that he is found and returned! |
I am so sorry this happened to you. I would take pictures to every vet in a 50 mile radius and post them there also. If you have facebook I would post this there and have everyone share her picture. Praying for her return. |

Oh my gosh! I am so sorry that his happened to you and your family, and I pray that Keira makes it home safely. I just do not understand how people can be so cruel. Please accept a HUGE hug on behalf of Cooper and myself, and I sincerely hope that your baby makes her way safely back home to you. |
i am very sorry. have you posted flyers...everywhere...put an add on craigslist...contact the newspapers.. i would do anything to get her face out there. my prayers that she is returned to you. |
Thank you all for your kindness and support. I'm trying to work today but keep crying I have reported it to the police, it's a felony here in NC to steal a pet. I've made a sign and posted it outside the house yesterday as she needs pain meds for her knees, have sent a flyer to our local vet and they are posting it in the office & will keep a look out if someone brings her in, I have 3 for the pet food store and plan to see if they'll post one in the vet area as well to their groomers and also there is a cmpd fb page you can post it on so I did that too. I know that she was stolen and will probably not likely be returned which is what making me crazy. I can't imagine what she's going through the thoughts are too horrifying. To MandiesMom.. I didn't have my glasses on and don't see well in the dark so to answer any questions about the car no all I know is it was an old model, dark could have been black, blue or green. No witnesses of course. I think it was someone visiting one of the neighbors and we're new here, they don't know us so they don't give a $4!^. |
I would at the very least scan craigslist every hour to see if someone is trying to sell a dog of your type. Maybe even put my own ad up. Id also let any shelter or rescue know...maybe even walk door to door to and let your neighbors know...reward no questions asked etc...I feel soooooo bad for you! I would feel awful if this was one of my babies... |
I think that my heart just stopped! I can not imagine someone just taking a furbaby. What is wrong with people!!! I am so sorry. I know that your heart is just breaking. |
