Actually no...I have many German friends...as a matter of fact, my daughter's godmother is a full German and also she's my best friend and her family is my adopted family that I love very much. I said Germans cuz they are Germans and because they tried to point out a date as his birthday that wasn't his birthday because I couldn't understand the language. No one was being stereotypical at all. I guess I should've changed it to "The German Breeders I Got Angelo From Lie" but thought that was just a little wordy and figured everybody would get what I meant....guess some don't. Oh and I'm black...I know all about stereotypes and don't do that to others...Thx!

I realize that you may not have meant to offend, but in my personal opinion it can be viewed as offensive. Certainly not trying to make you feel badly...just voicing my opinion is all; and, I have reported it with the hope that the admin or mod will simply change the wording as it is something that jumps out when a person logs in if it is at the top.

Like I said my best friend/ kid's godmother is a full German and my godson who is on the way nxt month is German along with many friends and "family". Have NOTHING against anybody. Didn't think this would turn into a big race/nationality debate...figured the part you all would care about is that my pup is younger than suspected.

I guess anytime an ethnicity is used to describe someone, people wonder why it is necessary at all to mention that when their origins aren't what made them lie, it was their lack of morals or caring about the dog - or an unlikely mistake.

Welcome to YT! I didn't think anything of the title, I just read to see what Op was referring too. This thread was not started about ethnicity/nationality...OP was lied to by German breeders, that convinced her to take the pup too young! I too am black, I saw nothing in the title that was discriminatory....JMO

So, if the subject said that Blacks Lie, you would be just fine seeing that? I honestly doubt many would.

I just firmly believe we should all be very careful about generalizations. Not everyone is going to read the post line by line ...

And BTW, I did tell the OP that I understand what her intent was. Not sure why she or anyone else needs to defend it. The bottom line is that we need to always TRY to be sensitive to people and I really DO have a problem with broad generalizations.
