Tracy, I'm just now seeing this, as I've been traveling. My son has been through two recent brain surgeries, so I do know exactly what you and Sammy are going through right now. The Lord will be faithful. He did not bring Sammy this far to leave him now. What a wonderful testimony that little boy is going to have some day. I'll be praying for you both. Please try to take care of yourself. Hugs

Praying praying praying that the God helps these meds ease Samuel's pain. I hope you are getting some rest when he's able to get some. He needs you healthy. Please make sure you are eating, Tracy. Hugs!

Thank you all on behalf of Tracy and her family. Here is the latest update she just sent me:

Was just about to txt you and ask that you have everybody pray. One of the biggest concerns would be infection. SAMs temp has been normal till a little while ago and now it's going up 99.9 still low grade but nurse is watching it close and doctor said if it gets to 101 we will start Tylenol and trying to see what's the cause. They are also now trying to move him every 2 hrs he has a bad cough from the ventilator and are concerned about the risk of pneumonia. I just feel overwhelmed. He screams and cries when we have to move his head and neck. Thankfully he is sleep again right now. Your helping me more than you know by just letting me tell you all that's going on! Thank you and I love you more than words can say!

Please continue the prayers. Thank you all!

Thanks for the update, Morgan. Not surprised there is some fever but hopefully his antibiotic cover will kill it off soon and bring that fever back down in the next day or so. Bless this poor child's heart that he is having such a terrible time and his mother has to sit there and watch it all. I sure do hope that she feels all of our prayers and hopes for Samuel's recovery coming at him and can feel a little boost. Wish there were more that we could manage to do help in more ways as most of us her are "fixers". Maybe when he is out of the hospital and back home, we can do something really nice for Samuel while he is still on the mend. May God hold that baby close tonight and breathe for him and pneumonia won't stand a chance.

prayers...poor sammy. i can only imagine the horrible pain he feels. so glad the staff is on top of his temp. prayers the temp subsides and there is no infection. hang in there lil man and stay strong....

Thank you for the regular updates on little Samuel. I have little Samuel, Tracy and Mark in my thoughts and prayers. I know how devestating it is to have a baby in pain. Praying for a quick upturn in his recovery and that the medical team treating him is able to reduce his pain level to "tolerable".

It sounds like litte Samuel and Tracy are an incredible Mom/Son team. Keep up the good work - both of you. Tracy - please take care of yourself and don't forget to eat and get what sleep you can - your little dude needs you healthy and well-rested.
