Sam goes in on Wednesday for his follow up. Stitches are dissolving and incision looks good. He's stable and walking again and the slurred speech gets better everyday and they can understand him more. He still won't allow them to give him anything for the pain. Bottom half of his neck is still swollen, so its not clear yet if that is fluid or still swelling from surgery, they will know Wednesday. He still turns his whole upper body so they work with him daily to try to get him to turn his neck.
Still not really eating and he has lost some weight...he is only drinking about three pedialyte a day instead of the 6-8 that he drank before the surgery. They are encouraging him to eat or drink, but not force him as he will gag and vomit. The things that he does eat, Tracy is making sure they are high in fat and calories.
Right now he and Kalisi are playing and its just good to hear him giggling!!

Please continue to pray for Samuel and Tracy, you are a special group of people and your prayers are very much appreciated.
