Cheryl, I also have a puppy yorkie she is 5 months old. I cannot believe that your yorkie is so distructive. I believe that she is acting out do to the fact that she is not getting undivided attention. Puppies do require alot of attention you know. Spend more time playing with her and makie her feel she is important to you. Puppies are just like little children, they have needs too!! My yorkie Penny has never chewed anything that i have not given her, and never wet or soiled on floor or carpet, I TRUELY BELIEVE YOU NEED TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH HER. Try it and see if it helps. And as far as your husband goes, he needs to calm down and realize that she needs his love and attention, not his anger and frustration. Tell him for me, to chill out!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, Villette!!! I have to agree, there is no such thing as a perfect yorkie, just like there are no perfect people. We just need to work on the bad behaviors with patience and repetition, and eventually we will have well mannered pups. However, they will ALWAYS be mischieveous! That is truly part of their charm.

I really don't like the direction the thread is going. I'm senstive when it comes to Brandy and that some people think that her behavior is the result of something I've done in raising her. I do my best with her. She's just a baby and I'm not strict with her when she does go potty in the house because of that reason. I think the fact that this has gotten so many pages people are starting to only pick through what they want read and are trying to draw conclusions from that instead of reading everything. This thread isn't for showing off how wonderful your dog is vs mine. I'm starting to feel a little put down. To me she is the best in the world with her little quirks. My husband is the one who is easily annoyed with her. And I think my husbands probably really stems from a bad relationship with his father. If anyone has a husband who doesn't love their dog nearly as much as they do, please pm me. Otherwise I think I'm finished with this thread because it has gotten too long and people aren't reading everything. I'm just going to hide the ornament, fix it, then put it out next year. Maybe he will be more tolerant of her then. Thanks for everyone who has read everything and really understands what's going on and has given advice. Suz, your post helped alot since you know John and I. I really don't think it will come down to Brandy having to find a new home, but if something bad ever happened, I know you would be the best place for her. Thanks again.

wow, now I am sobbing. you don't know my husband and you never will. He doesn't love the dogs and I can't force him to. I don't want to ever post anything here again. I never thought I would end up on the chopping block. You are such a hateful person and I dont know how you think the words you say help but they just hurt me.
