| Depends on what kennel and reason for cleaning. If the bottom tray slides out and there is poop on it then usually dish soap in the bathtub. If it is just pee or a one piece crate then usually hand sanitizer or a mid bleach.

| I use Dettol anti-bacterial surface cleaner (which apparently kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses ). I personally would be very worried about using anything with any form of bleach in it Sally + Harry x |

In junior school, the short-cut I took home from school was through a row of demolished estate houses. One day I tripped & fell, and got glass & rubble imbedded in my knees, I hobbled home and my dad sat me down & picked out the glass/pebbles, etc. and cleaned my wounded knees with Dettol. I was traumatized for life & would bawl at the first smell of it after that!!! I clean ZoE's crate with hot soapy water with a splash of bleach in it, & rinse well.

I use the clear one in the spray, it actually doesn't smell of anything much....as if I'd take away the smell of Pantene from Harry.... Sally + Harry x | |

| I use Virkon, which is antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, etc....kills on contact. Bleach must sit on the area at least 15 minutes in order to be effective. |

| I am glad this question came up..... please remember that some chemicals and bleaches could be dangerous to use..... and also harsh on little paws.......

| Vinegar user hear also, I wash everything from blankets, potty pad to toys with mixture of vinegar and water (even rinse out the cat box with it weekly). No wonder I go through about a gallon every two weeks.
