It's terrible that this happened at all, but at least you did what you could to help those precious babies. It is a sad situation all around...the poor dogs...how they must have suffered, and one is forever lost to us, and now a teenager faces having her life ruined because she messed up caring for those two beautiful furry babies because she didn't know how, or couldn't...I so hope NOT because she didn't give two hoots about those precious canine lives. It's just sad...sad...sad! Bless you for trying!!!

Omg That is so sad! I cant believe someone would let their dog starve to death like that! Even though the dog didnt die while under her "care", she still was the one that caused the death. I freak out when I can feel ribs on my lab! If they were actually showing like that I would have already been to the vet and figured out what was going on. You did the right thing. But I think you need to contact the police incase they need you as a witness later.

We put a 50.00 deposit and paid the first months rent on the apartmet we rent. I imagine it depends on location and the complex.

Maybe the girl lost her job. Maybe her boyfriend left her high and dry, who knows? Maybe she had a room mate that moved out and left her with the full rent. I'm not saying letting the dogs starve is right but no one here knows the situation and no one here is perfect and has the right to judge.
