| I did that. I bought things little by little over the years until I was allowed to have a dog.

| Nope that's why it's called nesting. Totally natural and shows you are getting prepared beforehand.

Is it the same for you? Buying the bits and bobs keeps me going, as I so want the pup NOW, but know it's not the right time. Remember to post pics of your pup, once you have it home. They also keep me going lol Living through all yorkie owners and their pictures.

YT 2000 Club Member | Haha....I did the same thing! When I would talk to the breeder about Teeka's progress, I told her I felt like I was expecting a baby. She said, I was. It is so exciting to get a new family member. I also have bought her so many new outfits and hair bows. My oldest daughter told me, Teeka has more clothes than she does! Gotta love those furbabies!!!

That's exactly how it is for me. Lol I want my baby NOW haha so I just preoccupy myself with buying things for them until it gets here. The litter should be born sometime in December. It seems like forever until I get to bring my baby home lol

| I like shopping at resale stores for blankets. I made a matching layette of leash,harness/vest,bed,and blanket while waiting to pick my baby up,so I consider nesting normal. If your baby is due in December, you wait the 12 weeks so he/she is at just the perfect age,you will be bringing your baby home in the spring and will have the spring and summer for your baby to grow and pottie train. That is just perfect!!! |

| I think it's great that you are nesting and getting prepared ahead of time. Congrats on your upcoming babe!

Oh I'd have a calendar ready, counting the days till birth, then days till injections, then days till baby comes home to you.
