"nesting" for a new puppy. Anyone else do it too? My puppy isn't even born yet and already I'm shopping for him/her lol I hope I'm not the only crazy one haha |
I did that. I bought things little by little over the years until I was allowed to have a dog. :) |
Nope I ordered all kind of girlie stuff for the female I was suppose to get yesterday, even made her tutu's and bows :) |
Haha good :) so far Ive bought some toys and I've started crocheting a little blanket lol in going shopping again tomorrow for an x pen and maybe start stocking up on food lol |
Nope that's why it's called nesting. Totally natural and shows you are getting prepared beforehand. |
I had a huge "nesting" problem lol... I got some of everything it seemed while waiting for her to come home :D.... Now the good news is it doesn't stop even after they get home lol.....:p.... Enjoy getting ready for your new baby!! |
I was so crazy before I got joel, haha I had his crate set up with all his toys and everthing in it, I kept moving things around trying to get it just right. "Lower that" "Make that bigger" "This toy should be on the left side" like a said, I was crazy, LOL |

Is it the same for you? Buying the bits and bobs keeps me going, as I so want the pup NOW, but know it's not the right time. Remember to post pics of your pup, once you have it home. They also keep me going lol Living through all yorkie owners and their pictures. |

Haha....I did the same thing! When I would talk to the breeder about Teeka's progress, I told her I felt like I was expecting a baby. She said, I was. It is so exciting to get a new family member. I also have bought her so many new outfits and hair bows. My oldest daughter told me, Teeka has more clothes than she does! Gotta love those furbabies!!! :yelrotflm |

That's exactly how it is for me. Lol I want my baby NOW haha so I just preoccupy myself with buying things for them until it gets here. The litter should be born sometime in December. It seems like forever until I get to bring my baby home lol |
I like shopping at resale stores for blankets. I made a matching layette of leash,harness/vest,bed,and blanket while waiting to pick my baby up,so I consider nesting normal. If your baby is due in December, you wait the 12 weeks so he/she is at just the perfect age,you will be bringing your baby home in the spring and will have the spring and summer for your baby to grow and pottie train. That is just perfect!!! |
I think it's great that you are nesting and getting prepared ahead of time. Congrats on your upcoming babe! :) |
Careful. I bought stuff for over a year before we got Scoobers...everything in pink...Scoobers is a boy. |
