Bengi is lost! - careless hotel housekeeper caused it!!! need your HELP!

There are people who will keep a dog that they find. Keeping this lost dog in the public eye may help others to realize that the Yokie their friend found is actually a much loved pet.

The hotel employees need to be interviewed by someone outside the company. The hotel is going to try to defend it's self by all means. A detective or lawyer is going to have to be brought in.

It's possible that if someone has him they may be led to turn him in if they feel that they may be facing jail time for the theft.

We only hope that even though those people dont gave morals, they do take care of him like he deserves

I feel so bad you didn't find him, but don't give up hope. Even if someone has him and plans to keep him, there are always friends, family and neighbors that know about him and one of them may turn out to be honest and give you info. Still praying.

Last nite I received an email from security; he's been working with the sheriff's department; unfortunatelly the department doesn't have sniff dogs. But they are still trying to be able to see the security cameras footage. He's gonna call me today...

What exactly is the hotel doing? Have you contacted the corporate offices of the hotel, not just the local manager?

Clarion, I don't think you are doing that much at all to find Bengi. I live in Orlando, I haven't seen you on the news or getting mass media involved, or even posting Bengi being lost on your own FB page! Maybe that's what you should be doing to try and get Bengi back. Maybe YOU should offer a reward! If it were me I would be suing your ass!

Maybe I missed it, but did they explain what housekeeping was doing in your room in the first place? I just read their pet policy and it states "Your room will not be serviced by housekeeping until you request service and have removed the pet from the guestroom."

I really hope Bengi is home soon. I know you must be worried sick.

My thoughts EXACTLY ! The Hotel should have contacted the news station within the 1st 24 hrs AND just because the Police dept doesn't have a search dog does not mean the Hotel can't hire one from someone else. I think they are too busy trying to cover their own A$$es to think about poor Bengi or how to properly get the word out that THEY lost him , so he can be brought home to his family.

She did and she informed the desk Benji was in the barhroom. At least that's my understanding.

The hotel stated and Op posted but was insure it was actually the housekeepers supervisor who let Benji out of the bathroom...

Hell of a supervising job she did.

Does anyone know how to post a photo/info link about Benji to Clarion's facebook page? They don't have anything about it on there other than their replies. They stopped replying, hoping it will just go away. They should "like" and share the "Bring Benji Home" facebook page, but, of course, they would never do that. Can that be posted on their wall? It needs to be on there and I don't know how to do it.

On the other post she made about travelling to Orlando this past weekend I pleaded for her to go visit the shelter, just in case.

I'm not sure she did though, havent seen any reply

I would for sure have gone to visit the shelter... talking and/asking questions to someone on the phone is not the same as viewing in person.

Unfortunately people make mistakes, get confused or aren't really focused at a particular time, mistakes can be made...
