| ![]() I think we need to all ban together to make something happen. I don't believe for one minute the housekeeper's story. I think he was stolen and the only way you are going to get him back is if you make a huge racket. Look at Baxter and Cooper. They were recently reunited after 18 months, billboards posted all over, and lots of coverage. Create a Facebook group to get the word out, call the news, contact the shelters, make fliers, offer a reward... Do whatever it takes to get your baby back. I would definitely suggest you post the name of the hotel so that we can pressure them to do something. If this were my babies, I would be furious...

| ![]() I am just reading this and I admit I didn't read all the pages. It's an awful thing to happen to you and your baby. Have you considered that he could have been stolen? I don't want to denigrate maids but could it be possible that the maid or someone she/he know could have had something to do with your dog being missing? Yorkies have become quite a prize for thieves in the past couple of years. |

| ![]() Ive been reading this and I agree a big noise needs to be made. Years ago I stayed in a hotel, took my special pillow with,I didnt even leave it on the bed when I left. When I returned it was gone,I told the manager that I was standing in the lobby until it was found and I wasnt being quiet about it. They searched the employees lockers and suddenly it was found. OK,its not a precious baby, but that is pretty much how I feel. Alot of noise needs to be made. If this is a Disney property I can not believe that they arent doing backflips to help. As for the lawyer, keep looking for one that can push the right buttons to get their attention. If this was a diamond necklace that managed to walk off, somebody in management would be very upset. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() I agree. Sorry to say. They classify pets as property. This is might be a way to get around it. Yorkies are expensive . Here is info from Florida thief law. There are varying degrees of theft in the eyes of the Florida legislature, but one common fact among all theft-related charges is that serious consequences will follow a conviction. If you have been arrested for and charged with a theft-related offense in Florida, you need to contact Adam Frankel, P.A., immediately for a consultation. Theft is defined by the legislature as follows; 812.014 - Theft A person commits theft if he or she knowingly obtains or uses, or endeavors to obtain or to use, the property of another with intent to, either temporarily or permanently: Deprive the other person of a right to the property or a benefit from the property. Appropriate the property to his or her own use or to the use of any person not entitled to the use of the property. The sooner you get started on building your defense, the better your chances of achieving a positive result. Below are descriptions of the specific types of theft that Mr. Frankel has handled for his clients. Grand Theft Grand theft is a special term that basically sets the degree of severity based upon the value of the property that's illegally taken. In general, any property taken that carries a value of more than $300 can be considered grand theft in certain circumstances, and the classification of this crime is a felony in the third degree, punishable by up to five years in prison. Petit Theft Petit theft involves the taking of any property that's valued at more than $100 and less than $300, and this crime is classified as a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable by up to one year of incarceration. Shoplifting Shoplifting is technically termed "retail theft," and this crime is committed if someone deprives a merchant or business of any property illegally. As is the case with any other theft-related crime, the severity of the charge will depend upon the value of the property taken, and these charges can be classified as misdemeanors or felonies. Dealing in Stolen Property Dealing in stolen property is another charge that can carry varying degrees of consequences, but the statute is very clear in regards to the penalties involved: 812.019 - Dealing in stolen property Any person who traffics in, or endeavors to traffic in, property that he or she knows or should know was stolen shall be guilty of a felony of the second degree. Any person who initiates, organizes, plans, finances, directs, manages, or supervises the theft of property and traffics in such stolen property shall be guilty of a felony of the first degree. All in all, theft-related charges need to be handled aggressively by your defense attorney. Contact Adam Frankel, P.A., today for a consultation and to begin building an aggressive and thorough defense. |

| ![]() I am not on facebook is there a link to your missing poster I could attach to an email. We then could flood all the motels/hotels with missing Yorkie emails and then you would not be singling out one particular motel/hotel. We could also send it to recues and vets in the area to help backup your search. Please let us know if we can help you.

| ![]() I think others here are right...we need to band together and help you find your Benji. I have been searching the internet and found nothing, but if we all had info and could write or email that hotel...whatever we can do to help you. I also wonder about the maid that was in your room. It is just awfully fishy. I can't believe a lawyer told you it's not enough to build a case. They obviously don't have pets or they would know how awful this is. I agree that you should get a facebook page...then everyone can share it and all their friends can share. It gets the word out. I will be watching to see any ideas anyone can come up with and I will be so happy to help. My heart just aches for you.

| ![]() I am just seeing this. I am so sorry. My heart just breaks for you, especially since you are not even in the area now. Someone mentioned Disney, but lack of cameras does not sound like Disney to me...nor does the kind of treatment you are receiving. It's hard to say whether it's negligence, stupidity, outright theft or a combination. I am not trusting of hotels/motels since I stayed in one one night many years ago and after spending the day out, came back to find someone else in the room! ![]() I hope Benji is found quickly.
