No more Dogswell Mellow Mut for us! Its organic free ranging etc but since its now made in China....who freaking knows what it really is???

My dogs lives are worth more than a bag of treats, others should see it that way too!

I hate to say it but our media is very controlled about what information they give to the public. You really have to dig to get to the bottom of things like the food industry. In the mean time people and pets are eating substances that were never intended to be ingested by humans or animals.
Once in a while a local reporter may bring the issue to the forefront but then there is push back from the industry and it all goes away again.
People are slowly starting to put 2 and 2 together with the China deal. Everything we buy is stamped "made in China" and yet unemployment is ramped. Younger people do not even know what our stores looked like 20 and 30 years ago. We had a better selection of better quality and innovative goods. Now shelves are stacked with junk.

Boycotting China here...exceptions are disposable batteries (git a rechargable set from Cistco Made In England) and energy efficient light bulbs...but trying to get a local store to carry eco friendly made ones from Holand, other than that 100% well Legos too.

Thanks for the info. Going to check out our local Walmart ahead of time to see what they sell.

The ones closest to me don't have them last time I visited them- I don't go often since I never buy anything from them. I take Buddy there when it is raining to visit with people.

My dad looked at the 1 near him near Nashville TN and they don't have them either- Went because I asked him too.

Wow I just read at the Walmart near me a woman used pepper spray on the crowds last Black Friday so they are going to have heightened security. I can't believe it is just a week away!

Wow I was shocked to discover that my local CVS carries multiple versions of Waggin Train chicken Jerky treats. I spoke with the cashier and she said was surprised to hear of dogs dying from these products. She told me I would have to contact the corperate office and I will! I was wondering which links would be best to include in my email as I want to make them realize how dangerous these products are!
