I'm big on the food issue.
I already boycott China, but really when their reps told our inspectors to stick it and take a hike, I can't understand why we aren't all in uproar.
No more Dogswell Mellow Mut for us! Its organic free ranging etc but since its now made in China....who freaking knows what it really is???

I hate to say it but our media is very controlled about what information they give to the public. You really have to dig to get to the bottom of things like the food industry. In the mean time people and pets are eating substances that were never intended to be ingested by humans or animals.
Once in a while a local reporter may bring the issue to the forefront but then there is push back from the industry and it all goes away again.
People are slowly starting to put 2 and 2 together with the China deal. Everything we buy is stamped "made in China" and yet unemployment is ramped. Younger people do not even know what our stores looked like 20 and 30 years ago. We had a better selection of better quality and innovative goods. Now shelves are stacked with junk.
