| Yorkie Lover Donating Member  |  I would say yes and no....Magic is only 5lbs and she defintely has to potty more often than Sailor who is 7lbs!!! But when she wants to or we make her she can hold it for a long time...she just has a smaller bladder due to her size!! But since he is only 13 weeks he may not know that he can hold it yet...that is somethng that he has to learn!!

| Can't help with the bladder question, but the size thing... sheesh.... Dublin was supposed to be under 7lbs when we got him at 12 weeks and according to all the charts he was right on target. The next thing I know, he's 8 months old and 10.5 lbs!!! Go figure....

| I don't know how true this is. I read in a book once that you can expect a puppy to hold it for an hour per how many months old. In your case, that would be around 3 hours.

| thanks everyone. yoshi is actually at my friend's house for the week while i'm in a conference in san diego, and he has been goin on pads in the kitchen at night so far. i'm gonna give night crating a try when i get back. he is such a handful. my friend called and one of the first things that came out of her mouth was "when you get back you're taking me to dinner"
