| ![]() You are so quick thinking. I'd have panicked. Tibbe owes you his life. The funny thing is, he probably thinks HE is the one that scared off the big dogs and protected Mommy by being so brave and mighty. He's saying, "You big dogs are lucky that black thing was in my way or I'd have torn you limb from limb." What a brave boy! So glad you are both alright.

![]() I know what you mean - Jackson doesn't help either. We had a Lab charge us in my dads neighborhood and he wants to fight back and won't give up! So then I end up controlling him AND the dog I'm trying to fight off...

| ![]() I am so glad to hear that your umbrella helped protect you and Tibbe. I have thought of carrying one since you first mentioned how useful it was to scare off menacing dogs. So happy you and Tibbe are safe.

| ![]() Glad you are both okay. This is what scares me about taking Jack and Josie on walks. I'd been a nervous wreck afterwards. |

| ![]() No, no apology, she just giggled nervously and skittered off with one dog and the other lady was silent, got the second dog and both quickly went in the house. They are new to the neighborhood. I'll tell you, on our walk today, I kept a wary eye out but Tibbs was unfazed, just cruising right along. I can't tell you how glad I was to have my trusty brolly with me during some of my more adventurous walks, even before I got Tibbe.

| ![]() Oh my, I would have been scared to death. I'm so glad you both are home, safe and sound. You really handled that situation exactly right and was able to protect you baby, great job. I don't even want to consider how it could have not turned out with the happy ending. Give kisses & hugs to Tibbe from me & Zhoie!

| ![]() What is so funny is that since it was drizzling, I didn't think there would be anybody out and almost, just this once, didn't take the umbrella, as I had my cane(had tweaked my hip so using the cane for a couple of days) and Tibbe's leash to handle and thinking I'd rather get damp than have to deal with it all during our walk. I thought we'd be the only ones outside but of all the days I didn't almost take the umbrella was a day it was actually raining and a day 2 dogs actually tried to attack! But just on the way out the door, that still small voice kind of whispered in my head "you might need it" and I grabbed up the umbrella and went ahead and opened it, thinking now that I had it, might as well use it to stay dry. So it was in my right hand with Tibbe's leash around my wrist, Tibbe walking on the left with my cane and it was so awkward! Anyway, so glad I listened to that little voice of caution!
