What is so funny is that since it was drizzling, I didn't think there would be anybody out and almost, just this once, didn't take the umbrella, as I had my cane(had tweaked my hip so using the cane for a couple of days) and Tibbe's leash to handle and thinking I'd rather get damp than have to deal with it all during our walk. I thought we'd be the only ones outside but of all the days I didn't almost take the umbrella was a day it was actually raining and a day 2 dogs actually tried to attack! But just on the way out the door, that still small voice kind of whispered in my head "you might need it" and I grabbed up the umbrella and went ahead and opened it, thinking now that I had it, might as well use it to stay dry. So it was in my right hand with Tibbe's leash around my wrist, Tibbe walking on the left with my cane and it was so awkward! Anyway, so glad I listened to that little voice of caution!
