| Lol I'm recusing her from a bad situation. She is going to be with me at the hospital I work for everyday all day. I understand leaving her with the mother is best but that option is not available |

| Aren't you worried about her catching something? Some people think they are rescuing puppies from bad situations when what there doing is just keeping these people in business just something to keep in mind in the future.

| Lol @ Tammy whatever your name. Once again I'm a vet tech! I have taught people how to raise a puppy. I appreciate your concern but I'm not a women who just bought a dog from a pet store because it was fluffy. Lol |

| You will find a lot of passionate members on here. We all believe that it is important to keep the puppy with mom until 12 weeks for socialization. Good luck with your new puppy!

| I completely understand but that unfortunately can not happen in this situation. The home that she is in now is not safe that's why I'm taking her early. They own a extremely aggressive boxer that will look at her as a chew toy. I joined this website for advise and to learn new things I need to know about owning a small breed dog but I felt like that women was attacking me and treating me like I'm retarted. |

| Your absolutely right that was ignorant on my part and I apologize. I just get frustrated with breeders who down talk to me. I know it's not the ideal situation but I want her to be safe |

| I understand that its just a rough situation all around the good thing is you know what hypoglycemia is and you can probably act faster then most if it happens and that is one of the biggest concerns. Although I am scared about what the pup might could catch at your work.

| She is going to be completely isolated from the other animals. I just feel bad leaving a puppy at home while I'm working especially being so young |

| Oh yeah definitely not an option but just be careful with her at work any illness in such a small pup could be deadly.

| I really don't understand why you would think a 'breeder' would be "talking down to you." The person concerned about the age of the puppy is not a breeder. You said you came here for advice about owning a small breed puppy but get upset when one of the first issues of concern about obtaining a small breed puppy was raised. Did you expect breeders to "talk down to you" when you came here? Is there something specific you wanted to know? Being a vet tech you know we cannot predict the type of things you asked concerning a mixed breed puppy. I hope you will take the time to read in the YT library. There are also things called a "sticky" at the beginning of each topic area that contain helpful information. If there is anything else you would like to know please ask. Please also realize that this is a public forum full of all kinds of people, pet owners as well as very experienced breeders that show their dogs. You will always get a variety of answers. |
