Good afternoon everyone. Here is Khaleesi! I have tons of questions. First do you think the mom is yorkie or silky? What do you think her hair will look like? Yesterday i bought Taste of The Wild puppy formula Salmon. Is the ok? Sorry for so many questions lol I'm a new small breed mom.:):):):)

Mom looks all yorkie to me. She looks almost identical to our past little girl Lolita. I have pictures of her in my albums if you want to look.

I am no expert but the mom looks all yorkie, the puppy is darling a really cutie but looks like it could be mix. Since you have a pic of the puppy with the mom, what did the person you bought her from have to say, did you see the dad? How old is your pup? Congrats and welcome to YT I am sure you will be able to find a lot of good info here and if you look around on this site you will see threads on how to care for a puppy.

The dad is a bichon Maltese mix. What is a GOT? Any ideas of what kind of coat she will have?

With mixes you cant really tell what kind of coat there gonna have until they have it. How old is he?

That statement is dead on, my Lola is a yorkie pom and I have not seen one that looks like her, she looks more like a yorkie, I just saw one on facebook that looks like a little fox and is a golden blond reddish color, nothing like Lola and Lola's brother was smaller and all brown and looked nothing like her. I have a feeling your girl might go light though, I have seen several morkies that start out dark and turn light creme color. I am surprised someone would breed such a pretty yorkie female with a mixed dog, seems like it is not worth taking the risk to get a three way mixed dog, was it an accident? Hopefully you will have a healthy puppy because in the end that is what matters most

It's so hard to say what she will look like or what type of fur at such a young age and with such a large gene pool going there. She does look like she will be lighter in color though. It is also hard to say about the mom. I think Silky's are bigger than Yorkies usually but with so many different types out there now it is hard to say. There is someone who breeds Silky's here on YT maybe if she drops by she could give a guess.

When are you getting this puppy?

I get the puppy on Tuesday and yes she was a accident the adoption fee is to get the male fixed.

She is going to be very young. I hope you are prepared to care for an infant.:confused:

Lol I understand that. I'm a er tech and have been a tech for 12 years I'm fully equipt to take care of her.

good for the male, but what about the female are they planning on breeding her again, if so I sure hope the owners would know if she was a yorkie or a silkie. 7 weeks is young, good luck hope it works out well and glad you found YT because there is lots of good avice here on the care of a puppy, of course the first bit advice from most Yorkie Talkers would be to wait until the dog is older but at this point I guess that's between you and the seller.
