| Little bumps on Milo I found a few little bumps on Milo. I got to looking and i got 2 tiny black bug off of him. I can't tell if it is seed ticks or not. They are so small. I only give him stuff for fleas because he don't get into tall grass he is only in the yard. Should I shampoo him in tick and flea shampoo or get front line? He sleeps with us and I was tore up this morning when I was petting him and found those little bugs. What do I do. The vet is not open today.

| Get yourself a good flea comb. It will pick up any bugs that are on him. Check him out very closely to make sure his skin is totally bug free. A bath would not hurt but I don't like flea and tick shampoos either unless it is necessary. If you are able to get rid of any bugs by hand you are better off. When he comes in from outside just take your flea comb and run it through his fur to make sure he didn't pick up anything while he was out. Turn him over and check his belly. I use Advantage II on Gracie even though we do have ticks in the woods and the fields. I don't take her in those areas. We mostly walk on pavement, sidewalks and trails. If we go a considerable distance or get near wilder areas I always check her out extra when we come in. I haven't had anything get on her yet this year thankfully. |

| Just for future reference, your little one does not have to go in tall grass to pick up a tick. They can be found most anywhere--trees, bushes, etc...
