I am sorry this happened. The hair will grow back, I hope the friendship is not over. My sister once cut my son's bangs and they looked horribal. I forgave her but her crying made that easy to do.

This is not how a true friend would react. When it was clear you were upset, her laughing about it is really strange....and mean.

Even if she had the best intentions, the laughing/making fun of you being upset really makes me wonder if she truly did have good intentions. I'd have to wonder.

Regardless, I too would be upset if someone cut/changed my pet's hair, or, my skin kid's hair if I had one. No matter the intention, that's pretty basic common sense stuff for most people.

Good lord. I'm all for a good prank...but I'm not so sure this was a good one. I'm not sure if it's cool to prank about people's pets or kids .

In any case, the friend needs a bit of remedial training on pranks.
