| I started my little matriarch, that has arthritis in her hips so bad, she was getting where she would not even move out of her bed, on Cosequin, 1 capsule (open it up and sprnkle the powder over her food....must not taste bad because she eats the food that has the powder on it, first!)daily....I have SEEN with my very own eyes the miracle THAT medicine does! Crickette can actually run now and is again trying to play with the others, and with stuffed toys....but her going from unable or unwilling to move, to running as best a 14 year old lady run, is a wonderment for me!! I ran completely out one time when my mother was in the hospital dying, and Crickette was 4 days without the medication, and she was BACK down to not moving....it is OTC now, so your vet doesnt make the money they used to make off that drug....I dont like giving the anti-inflammatories and pain pills they are always so quick to give....as long as the Cosequin is working for her as well as it is, I will just stay on that. |

| I can testify to how important it is to be diligent about giving medications on a regular basis to pets, and people, who need it. I was stricken with an autoimmune disease a while ago that attacks my connective tissues. While I am on a few different meds I know that if I do not have the anti inflammatory type medication for a few days I can go from someone who walks fairly normally to someone who moves like a severe cripple. The difference in pain level and mobility is just amazing. As my Shih Tzu grew older he needed treatment for his joints. The right food, supplements and medications added 5 good years to his life. It is amazing to see how the right combination of treatments can add such vitality to ones life. |
