| ![]() yep, i do believe because of all that hair it would happen to most. Ziggy does have this happen (as he has a long coat) but i trim his *area* when i give him his weekly bath. this curbs the problem. after pooping though always ask Ziggy "Bum check baby" and he will stay still and present his bottom for inspection, lol

| ![]() My Scotty & Jilly & the puppy Jilly wouldn't let me keep, Teddy, all had this issue from time to time, despite keeping them close-trimmed. Tibbe? Even with his stand out, cottony-type coat which sometimes I fail to trim back there, has never - ever - left anything - nothing - on is bum! I have had him 4 years & never had to clean his bottom. I just find that incredible. But he does such an amazing curl-up kind of position & waits like that for a long time afterward when he "goes", I don't guess there is just no way anything can get on his behind! He is the only dog I've ever had never leave anything on his tush.

| ![]() I have seen Elvis uhhhh wipe his tooshie on the grass. At first I thought he just needed a gland cleaning but no he was defi ately wiping. Princess always had hangers she eats a lot of dental rope strand by strand though. A short cut around bum and down her back legs along. Also usimg a leave in conditioner like lanolin, biosilk or marikesh around bum &the down legs (under tail) leeps pooh from sticking or drying on hair.

| ![]() I regularly trim bums, but since changing diet I don't find sticky bums an issue any more. I bought round edged baby scissors and also a little rechargeable conair set of clippers for quick and tidy bum shaved |
