| For those of you wondering what you can do...please note that the hymelic maneuver used on humans can also work on dogs. I have used this method on my cockapoo while she was choking on food. Please also note that on another board, one of our users lost her dog to rawhide as she was choking and was unable to help her. Ask yourself, is it really worth taking the risk? Personally, I don't think it is. Nylabones work fine. |

| rosie has raw hide and pigs ears but when they get small i throw them away, but i never leave her alone with them just incase |

| How scary!!!! I'm so glad she is o.k. Since we're on this subject I was wondering if anyone leaves any type of chewing thing with their pups when you're not home. I don't now but I know it would probably help to give Samson something to do while I'm gone. |

| Thank god, everything turned out ok. After reading about greenies and rawhide here on YT. I stopped giving them to my two. Now it's just bull sticks which they love more anyhow.
