| This is another funny thread. My Josie does sometime not always. I think the pineapples do help. It's only the poo on the pads not when I take them outside. If I am home I grap the poo immediantly. If they go after the sitter comes by, can't get it till I get home. I always know if she has cause it is crumbly.. Funny story when we first got her and we keep them in a x-pen area. My sone come home one day and had to twinkel really and seen the poo as he went by on the ppad but had to go so bad he thought I'll get it when I am done. Come out of the bathroom to get it and it was gone. Calls me at work and says Mom I think Josie is eating her poo. I said no way! We had never experianced this before so I was totally grossed out about it. Read up on it and what to do and just deal with it now. I have also gotten the sprinkle stuff from the vet, I think the pinapples work better for us. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | All four of mine do " I T " .... lol ! It's crazy... I can understand Miah because she had to clean the bottoms of four litters of pups. I guess she took is too far and enjoyed it way too much. Now she has shown the other three how to do it and it has become a nasty habit of all four. It is one of the most disgusting, vile things that they can do. I've tried several things to stop it and nothing worked!! No puppy kisses for them. I must say... the only Bonus it that my hubby has less to pick up since they prefer to recycle " IT " .

| OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I knew there would be a thread for this in here. CoCo has been eating her poop and trying to eat her big sister's poop too!!!!! I am disgusted by it! I have been giving both of them Pineapple and that hasn't been working like I need it to. I'm guessing it's about 50/50 that she eats the poop. I am at my witts end with this. I've seen "crumbles" in the girls (laundry) room and she's even brought "pieces" into my room and put them in her dog bed like she's saving it for later!!!!!!! I need a list of things to try, because at this point I'll try them all!!! Please help me!!! |

| Abby started doing it and I was watching a dog whisperer show- Cesar said he thought it was a lack of potassium, and he retrained the pup with bananas. I have been giving them to Abby daily plus the "No"training and have seen a big difference. She is not rushing to get to Ziva's "gifts",which gives me time to get there and dispose of them. |

| Well "Dustie" does it sometimes as well..if I'm not quick enough to pick it up before him..In fact I think he thinks its a game...like who gets to it first. But I have bought some tablets from the pet shop "Stool Repel" half a day..so far it varies..sometimes he doesn't then next time he goes for it. I had this problem years ago with another Yorkie I owned..and I never really cured him of the habit Funny though both were castrated..I wonder if there is a connection. It is revolting to watch..but I think the more stressed we become with it..the more they do it..lik naughty children...As long as they are kept away from other Dogs P.... then its not too bad...Having said that I would like my Dustie to stop. I also remember watching that episode and at the time I onoly had my Chihuahua and remembered thinking........."I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that." Well.........here I am 3 years later.....dealing with it!!!! I will get bananas immediately!!!!! Shoot, by the time I'm finished with the girls, they'll be eating fruit salad instead of dogfood. | I thought the lack of potassium had merit because Abby is 10 months old and had not always done it. She is very long and lanky and is always hungry, I moved up her breakfast kibble and have started freezing discs of banana and giving her one in the morning when she is most apt to partake. She loves the banana while Ziva will hardly touch it. |
