conditioner help

Using a good conditioner will help keep the hair from tangling as fast. A conditioning spray for between shampoos will help, too. I give Gracie a bath once a week. She also loves to get under the blanket and is quite a busy little girl.

My sister-in-law swears by Tropiclean (she has 3 Shih Tzus)...I agree that having a separate shampoo and conditioner will make a BIG difference.

I never thought of adding salmon oil to her diet...thanks for the tip Gina.

Sophie ends up looking like a Wild Thing a lot too!
I brush her hair and within a few minutes (actually seconds) she has crazy hair! Her hair mats very easily too so I think she will need to have a conditioner and separate detangler too.

Thank You, you have been very helpful in lots of things. I am not really in a good condition mentally or physically right now to have a puppy but I think God, my husband and little Dee Dee sent this one into my llife. From the time I got her at 7 weeks she has been by my side, sleeps with me, uses her Pads, no accidents and loves me unconditonally. No one does that for me now that I have lost my husband who was my world and my little Dee Dee who was both of our worlds.

I am going to look for the Tropiclean, I know Pet Co has it.
My son has 2 Shih Tzus and boy they matt easily. They have them groomed once a month and keep them short in the summer.
