It's frustrating and weird that items like Nutrical (Tomlyn Products) are made in Quebec, Canada but I can't find it at any pet store in Ontario! I have to buy it online and pay some ridiculous shipping fee! I just buy it across the border at the Petco store thanks to being able to surf the internet. | |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | ![]() Now Now Nancy; I would not recommend spending $3000 at one go. maybe 4 or5 purchases :-) i always recommend Biogroom Shampoo and the Silk conditioner - good price performance and easily accessible in Canada. Now if Lemon Lime is in Niagara Falls near the border - oh la la. She has a whole host of shows I can send her to - to do some serious puppy shopping!! ISB as Jencar stated is a very good product - but I only use the PET conditioner on my blackies --- never needed it for my silk coated boy. The shampoo I love Green Apple not so much the conditioner. But I love ISB mink oil. Add that into your shampoo great results! The trick beyond rinse rinse rinse shampoo out - is to leave some conditioner in the coat. This will help to coat the hair and if you ar e blowdrying it is an absolute must. ISB here in Canada you have to order in. But they might carry it in the US in the shows. not too sure. Another lovely product is Plush Puppy and that you can get at Canadian Shows probably more often than US shows. #1 all Systems makes a great line - you can go to Rens Pet depot to buy. The #1 All systems conditioning shampoo - I rated as a 3.5 out of 5. Pretty good for the Blackies - too harsh I felt for my Yorkie. But my show breeder uses this for her crew... and loves it. Anyhow I better shut up now. You just got my Product Junkie motoring on. lol

| ![]() Have you tried adding Salmon oil to her diet? I use S.O.S (save our skin) 100% Salmon oil and apart from a beautiful, managble silky coat,it also moisturises the skin from the inside ![]() It´s basiclly Omega 3 etc,so it also helps with their joints and heart etc ![]()

| ![]() I too thought you had to use Puppy Shampoo until I read posts on here. The puppy shampoo made her look as if she hadn't been washed. I am trying to look on here for a good shampoo. I also need a Good Detangler. She has that fine hair and it mats very quickly even though I try to brush every day. She rolls around on the blanket, gets under her blanket and plays and comes out looking like a Wild Thing. I am between a Pet Smart and a Pet Co. so I should be able to find something. No more puppy shampoo, I always wash her little face with a cloth anyway. She is good to bathe. |
