| Meet Scrappy! Just wanted to introduce my new foster, which we have named Scraps, or Mr Scrappy. I met up with Jo Ann on Sat to pick him up. He's a tiny little guy, only about 5.5 lbs, and makes tall supermodel Uni even more freakishly model-like. (Uni's 6 lbs, but looks WAY bigger than him bc her legs LOL) Haven't gotten a pic of the two of them together yet, but they are getting along well. We think his is a senior guy, about 10 yrs old. He's got a bad case of LP, esp in his left leg, so I doubt I'll be trick training him. For now we are working on him learning his new name. He eats great, not picky at all, is potty trained, and is quiet! He does have a bit of a reverse sneeze thing going on. Don't know if he's got a cough, or it's just how he is. =/ Hoping it will go away. Anyway, here's his pic! He had to be totally shaved down bc he was extremely matted. (He was picked up as a stray.) Even with his chihuahua look, you can tell he's all yorkie and will be even cuter when his hair grows in.

| Well, I thought of Scrappy Doo, Scooby's lil brother, and while he's not fiesty like the original Scrappy is, I felt it was appropriate since he was a stray. I think all animals who survive as strays are tough, and that somehow he survived proves he is strong, even though he is tiny. I have one of Smokey's shirts on him, that I forgot to send along with his forever family, and Scraps is SWIMMING in it! It looks like pjs on him. Plus, if anyone remembers, Scraps is the name of Victor's dog that has passed on in Corpse Bride, which is one of my favorite movies. So I go between calling him Scraps and Scrappy. He still doesn't know either LOL. But since he has bad LP, he doesn't jump, or even try, and he can't do stairs, so good thing he's not so clingy, he didn't cry to sleep up on the bed. I'd be afraid he'd wander off the edge and break a leg or something. He was totally fine with sleeping on his little bed on the floor in our room. Uni was totally fine with not sharing her bed. He even barks when he wants out to go potty!

| Thank you for taking care of a senior and giving him the love and care he needs. It's not easy once they get much older, but the rewards are truly great. Scrappy is really bright eyed and so very precious.

| NOOKS--I LOVE his name! Oh he's is in good hands lucky lil guy now. I'm guessing he's a lil hottie when he gets all cleaned up and his coat grows back in. Do you know about the cupping your hand for the reverse sneezing and apparently grain free diets significantly impact this also-reducing the reverse sneezing dramatically-especially if it is caused by allergies..
