| Suddenly, once in awhile..Input please.. My 7 year old Yorkie Miss Mini will have bouts of going to pee on the floor, very far from her litter box even in the bathroom or kitchen. She will do this only when we are sleeping and once in awhile when we are not at home. I usually don't contain her in the house when we are home. When I go to work I gate her in the kitchen. She did this before the new puppy and does not seem to be related to that at all, had her vet checked for uti's etc., nothing... input please

| Ok, it is UTI....infact my own journal verifies that everytime she does this she has a UTI. I knew this but swear the vet told me that she did not have a UTI a few weeks ago...sure enough, she did and does now. Am having her checked to get to the bottom of this problem...

| Oh my, Yoshi has started marking and we are thinking that he needs more attention and probably more walks. He is almost 7 yrs old and he still has his days with Miss Priss, the jury is still out about him really liking her or tolerating her. He goes in Mon to the vet for his yearly exam and I will mention this to the vet. It seems there is always something going on with my two. Lynne, I hope Miss Mini is better soon...

| Yes, a UTI that continues to re-occur is something that needs a close check. Hope she is OK. |

| Thanks everyone, it really is disheartening sometimes. Funny when I walked out of the vet with her antibiotics yesterday, I got in my car and cried my eyes out. Miss Mini is an absolute sweetheart and in her 7 years of life she has not gone 3 months without an illness. You would never know it though, her disposition is so sweet and the poor baby is use to being sick...probably don't know any better. Her quality of life is just fine though, when shes sick she recovers quickly...right now shes torturing Miss Mia with a stuffed animal! I love her sooooo much....

| Your a good mommy, you already knew what was wrong with your baby. It is a bit frustrating to have a pup that is ill all of the time,Ive been there. You obviously take very good care of your babys. Sending hugs {{{HUG}}} |

| I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. It's never easy when one of our babies isn't well. Hope Miss Mini starts to feel better, and mommy.
