My 7 year old Yorkie Miss Mini will have bouts of going to pee on the floor, very far from her litter box even in the bathroom or kitchen. She will do this only when we are sleeping and once in awhile when we are not at home. I usually don't contain her in the house when we are home. When I go to work I gate her in the kitchen.

She did this before the new puppy and does not seem to be related to that at all, had her vet checked for uti's etc., nothing...
