Babydoll Face

Several years ago when I had my little Maltese she was considered to have a "babydoll" face. She did have a much shorter snout than many of the Maltese you see. That is what breeders were going for and that is what was winning in the rings.

From what I have seen of winning show Yorkies most have a more baby doll type of look to them.

I have heard of the teddy bear faces but have never had any experience with them.

OMG So adorable Patti and Pixie is a perfect example of a Baby doll Face. I think it is ok to use it as a descriptive example. Just like you could say ' long colt like legs' on a Greyhound. Or Elfish ears on a Chihuahua.

I wish I could get Mill to wear clothes and bows she looks like a little boy. The other day I put a dress on her and she was trying so hard to get out of it she through herself into the wall!! LOL!! I felt horrible, but it was pretty funny after i realized she was okay!LOL

Millie is adorable...Prissy doesn't keep hers on for long, just keep trying...LOL they are cute either way.

All of these babies are so cute, Pixie has always been one of the cutest yorkies ever and Sophia you would make anyone proud you are so beautiful

She has a very sweet face but hard to tell what her face will be as an adult. Just keep trying to put loose fitting clothing on her at first. Something like a little shirt that does not press on her fur very much. Try playing a game with her after it is on to distract her from thinking of it.
That's how I got Gracie to accept her topknot bows. I would put them in very loose and play fetch (her favorite game) with her for a while. She would forget all about it. Baby steps!

Prissy reminds me of a teddy bear when I look at her, Millie kind of does too. But I am not sure. I say Jack looks like a little fox - what do you all think?

My Sophie Kate has a "I didn't chew up that shoe" face. There I made a new definition for a Yorkie face.

aaaw Jack is too cute too. I think they are all adorable and too cute. But hey have you ever seen an ugly Yorkie???

I think our Lilo has a teddy bear face since her nose is much shorter than most yorkies but our little Leo definitely has a longer nose than his sister but he is just as cute!
