Several years ago when I had my little Maltese she was considered to have a "babydoll" face. She did have a much shorter snout than many of the Maltese you see. That is what breeders were going for and that is what was winning in the rings.

From what I have seen of winning show Yorkies most have a more baby doll type of look to them.

I have heard of the teddy bear faces but have never had any experience with them.
