I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | One way to tempt them is to boil about an inch of water in measuring cup, this takes about 30 seconds. After the water is boiling, place the bully stick in the water and microwave another 30 seconds. Just the tip of the bully stick is in the water. Don't boil too long the bully stick will curl. Take out and rinse with cold water, the tip of the stick should be soft, and it will have more of a smell. This is also a good way to kill bacteria, for those whose dogs share the sticks.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | That's really is something! I just meant I hate celery, but if you put a little peanut butter on it, it's so good!

| Yes. Rhianna is my chewer freak . . .she is only allowed to chew if I'm holding it for her . . .when we settle in for the night she comes up on the couch with me and I hold her chewie for her . . .I am too afraid she'll break off a piece and choke. Our first dog (American Staffordshire Terrier) almost choked to death on a rawhide and I had to literally stick my hand down her throat to get it. So while I like the chewing aspect for keeping teeth cleaner, I'm too much of a worry wort to have it be unsupervised.

| Thank you, yeah they do, I'm not a huge fan of them either, which is why we were going to try the bullies . . .I'm going to try that trick that Nancy said this weekend.
