| Stuffed yorkie At Thursday at 10 on Animal planet the show American Stuffers is on and in the preview they showed a stuffed yorkie. It was so cute and looked like a live yorkie. The lady had it sitting on a little pillow. I know this is a subject that came up thats kind of controversial but I would like to watch the show. Im interested

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've watched the first two episodes and have actually enjoyed them. It's an idea that at first I wasn't accepting of, now my opinion is changing. I certainly can understand why someone would have it done, but then also understand those that couldn't/wouldn't. In the bits of upcoming shows I've seen, there have been several yorkies filmed for the show. I would think given the breed's popularity and that many owners spare no expense, he probably stuffs more yorkies than any other breed, except maybe chihuahuas.

| So, I'm reading this thinking, so what's the problem-a stuffed yorkie. We have a couple of stuffed animals and Bubba and Sissy love to play with them. Then, I realized a STUFFED yorkie. I'm a little slow today

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I saw that too, I would like to see the show just for my own curiosity. When we saw the commercial my husband was joking with me and said that that is what his is going to do with our male Quincy when he dies. Not sure I agree with him. It seems a bit taboo !

YT 2000 Club Member | I said I wouldn't be opposed to it, but when it came right down to it, I don't know if I could really do it or not..... Probably not, but the thought has crossed my mind when the last post about this came up.

YT 2000 Club Member | When the last post came up about it, I was talking to my hubby about it, about when we lose Mags and having this done. He said the choice was mine, it wasn't something he wanted to do, but if it's what I wanted, then that's what we'd do. I don't know what would be harder, never being able to see her or touch her and hold her and smell her again until I get to heaven, or having this done to her and her just sitting there, not being the Mags she's been to me since her first lil paw paw stepped into my heart and world. I know I'd love to wrap my arms around our Isaiah (boxer) right now and just hold him, but I'm kinda thinkin in the end, if I had it done, it would hurt more and I would be so upset with myself for having had it done to her. I'm thinking her ashes will have to be enough until God calls me home and I can be with her again.

| I had thought about this a long time ago and decided it wasn't for me. I now have 8 beautiful Urn's with their ashes and it is written in my will that when I am cremated their ashes will be mixed with mine.

| This isn't for me either. It just feels like my dog won't rest in peace if I do this to his leftover physical body and it'll probably hurt more seeing him but not really him you get what I mean?
