I just finished reading through this wonderful thread. It is great to see how loving people can change the fate of neglected Yorkies. Funny how people hate it when they are judged for their looks but have no problem condemning a dog to a life of neglect since they are not as tiny as they hoped for. Thank you for making a difference and helping to find a love connection for Pebbles and her new Mom. I loved the sweet photo of them together. I hope the other Yorkie is as lucky with their new family. Best wishes to you and may blessings shower down on you.

Congratulations on your new Yorkie. I'm so happy that she is in a great home with you. I'll never understand people being mean to animals and neglecting their pets.

Pebbles Mom posted this on my FB page to re the JOB

she look out the office door/then come back and lay next to my desk, i dont understand why they didnt want her.....shes a sweet girl..oh and she greet the customers, i told the usp man to watch out because i had an attack dog.... and she has no problem with my postman...well since i dont have a hubby, guess i'll grow with pebbles,,,lol

Thanks for the kind comments . I feel blessed to have been a part of this process. My next door neighbors rescue all of the time. Now i feel the reward they feel. It feels very good.

Just got to read this thread. Such a great ending to such a sad beginning. We are put right where we need to be when we need to be there. New mommy and Pebbles...love the name...look very happy...she's a cutie. Maybe new mommy will join YT and continue putting updates and pix up.

You were an angel...and her guardian angel...for helping her the way the way you did. May you always be as blessed as the blessing you have bestowed on Pebbles and her new mommy!

Remember I told you that Pebbles was completely silent, no barking, no sounds came from her while here. New Mommy tells me she growled at someone coming into the office yesterday and then quieted as soon as new Mommy told her it was ok. She has established ownership of the insurance agency and is now in guard dog mode. I take this as a good thing. LOL She is ON her new job. Life is good.

I am on a fixed income and had to spend my last $500 dollars in savings to help LUCKY. Like yourself, I thought I would help him and then find him a home. When I picked him up for the first time to cuddle him her trembled. When I fed him he ate like he had not eaten in days. When I went to bath him he jumped out of the tub. Long story short, he has adapted very well and there is nothing he would not let me do to him. He is loved. Now, LUCKY is home. So much for re-homing :>). I wish you the best in whatever you decided.
