Awww, what a sweet face she has! How can someone be mean to her It just boggles my mind that someone could be so cruel to an innocent animal It's not her fault she's not potty trained, it's THEIRS They should beat themselves and rub their nose in it!

I hope her new home is patient, kind, and loving. Will you be able to get updates on this sweet baby?

Poor little thing she is a cutie. Your are a great person for rescuing her. Some people should not be allowed to have pets. Hope you can find her a great loving home that treats her how she should be treated.

Poor lil thing! She has no idea what a normal,loving doggie life is. I hope that she and her new mommie will hit it off. It will be interesting to see how she blossoms over the next few days and weeks.

I would like to thank all of you for your comments in the thread, and yes for the member who asked , I put the yellow bow in her hair for the "come give me a home" picture. I can hardly stand to look at that picture because that baby looks so sad. When I went to get her, I took Maya with me , as I thought it would ease it some for the dog I was going to get. Maya never met a stranger.

One of the teenage kids said "See THAT is the kind I wanted, one that would stay little like that." That kinda spoke volumes about what happened to Pebbles. She didn't stay tiny or turn out maybe as "cute" as they anticipated, thus the loss of interest.

Well her new Mom is supposed to come this evening to meet her, so we shall see.

The lady I have in mind went to college with me and we reconnected via Facebook. She is on my page everyday, and what I am hoping for is updates and sharing pictures and all. Even maybe play dates. I hope to remain Auntie, I have a former rescued cocker living across the street and I get to see Bailey often. I think my house is complete with the Divas, but I want to help other babies if I can.

That happens so much and it makes me angry at people. I'm glad she's outta there and I hope she can find a new mommy that will love her, train her, and give her the security that she needs.

I know exactly how you are feeling. A few months ago I met a woman on the street. I was stopped at a light and she approached my car. She saw how my lil Gizmo was "king of the passenger seat" and ask if I wanted another dog. She was 8 months pregnant (about 40 yrs old). She said she had four kids, two in state custody and the babies father was in jail for battering her. I agreed to go to where she lived to meet the dog. On that day I say her coming down the street and what looked like a filthy matted dirt filled rug wandering about without a leash. She yelled his name and he came running. His hair was all over his face so he could hardly see where he was going. He wasn't a Yorkie but he was a dog in need of rescuing. I knew if I left him that he would not survive. So, I took him. I got him groomed, took him to the vet for his shots, and found out he had an infection in both ears. He is half Lhasa Apso and half Dachshund. I am on a fixed income and had to spend my last $500 dollars in savings to help LUCKY. Like yourself, I thought I would help him and then find him a home. When I picked him up for the first time to cuddle him her trembled. When I fed him he ate like he had not eaten in days. When I went to bath him he jumped out of the tub. Long story short, he has adapted very well and there is nothing he would not let me do to him. He is loved. Now, LUCKY is home. So much for re-homing :>). I wish you the best in whatever you decided. It is so sad that they could just throw her away like some kind of trash because she's not what they had in mind. This brakes my heart & now they'll probably go get another in hopes for a little one. She does look like a very sweet little girl in the pic, but you are rite that she does look very sad too. She is probably very much missing the family that treated her so badly. God Bless you for saving her from those terrible people.

You are such a good person for rescuing this little girl...she looks so sad in the picture, but her life is sure to improve now that she is out of that house. I'm hoping she clicks with her prospective mommy tonight and that she is treated like a queen from now on.

It was me who asked about the bow. Honestly I kind of like the picture of Pebbles, sure she looks kind of sad but just think that was the hopefully the last day of her life she has to be sad, scared and treated poorly. I am glad you have her now.
